[NEWS] Shin Hye thinks George Hu is an uncle?

Last weekend, the cast of GTV’s “Hayate the Combat Butler” arrived in Huis Ten Bosch, Nagasaki, JAPAN to continue the filming of the drama series. Male lead George Hu and female lead Park Shin Hye are always jokingly being paired up by their castmates, who say that the two look good as a couple. However, the 20-year-old actress does not share the same viewpoint as she thinks that George Hu, 28, is too old for her.

In real life, Park Shin Hye says that she has not had any experience of love before: “I debuted when I was in Primary 6(elementary school year 6). Since then I have been busy filming and working and haven’t had any time to be in any relahionship.” When asked what she thinks about costar George Hu, Shin Hye replied “I think he is too old for me.”

Shin Hye’s team and manager jokingly said that George Hu is an “uncle” to Shin Hye. In regard to this, Park Shin Hye hurriedly says “I am not saying he is old. Please don’t misunderstand.”

In fact, Shin Hye has been in the industry for 8 years, but due to her packed schedule, she hardly has any time for love. “My management allows me to be in a relationship, but my heart and mind are too focused on my work, so I don’t think about love for now,” she says. “I like guys who are gentle and have personalities.”

Through searching on the Internet, Shin Hye finds out that George Hu is knows Kung-fu and wants to learn from him: “I really like sports, so I want to try learning Kung-fu,” she says.

Hayate will film in Huis Ten Bosch for 2 weeks before heading back to Taiwan to continue filming. The drama is scheduled to air in April 2011.

[TWITTER] Shin Hye is heading to Japan tomorrow

Our star, Shin Hye, is heading to Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, JAPAN tomorrow to continue her filming of "Hayate the Combat Butler".

The filming will take place at Huis Ten Bosch in Japan. The place is built in the image of the Dutch royal palace in The Netherlands. The filming will start on the 28th and the filming length in Japan is around 2-3 weeks.

Dubbing of the animation ‘Dreams of a Precious Day’

Korean stars have lined up to participate in the new animation film "Dreams of a Precious Day" (Alternate title: "Green Days").




On the 23rd of November, the production company, Yeonpillomyungsanghagi, revealed photos of the dubbing location with Song Chang Yi, Park Shin Hye, and Oh Yeon Seo participating on the 19th.

Dreams of a Precious Day is the much anticipated work of skilled Korean animators working together.

The leads have been given to Song Chang Yi and Park Shin Hye, who have been gaining popularity with the drama series "You're Beautiful" and the movie "Cyranno Agency", and newcomer Oh Yeon Seo of the movie "Whispering Corridors 5".

In the still photos, the three actors are showcasing their smooth, sophisticated voice acting ability and are clearly being very serious during the recording.



Park Shin Hye, who has recently gone into more mature roles, did a playful, cute voice during the recordings, playing the lead character, Yi Rang, and Song Chang Yi seemed able to go back to a time when he was starting out as an actor while voicing the character of Chul Soo,, a young, innocent boy with a lot of dreams.

Oh Yeon Seo, showing off her experience as an original member of the KBS youth series Sharp, perfectly played the character “Sumin,, a mature, emotional girl student who has moved from the city.

"Dreams of a Precious Day" was introduced at the Pusan International Film Festival to the approval of the audience. The release date has yet to be set.

In the photo, Park Shin Hye had a bare face with her toothbrush, while holding her dog. What have brought to everyone’s attention is her large eyes looking at her puppy with an intense cuteness.

Park Shin Hye & other Korean artists participated in donation to help Thailand flood victims

Our Star loves doing Charity work!!

According to Korea-Thailand Communication Centre (KTCC) Korean stars donated their goods for a charity event, ‘Korea Festival 2010‘ which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 30th to December 5th.


More than 130 Korean stars made their donations for the event. They are Park Shin Hye, Lee Minho, Lee Joonki, Lee Jungjae, Lee Dahae, Ha Jungwoo, Kim SunA, Kim Raewon, Jo Hyunjae, Gong Yu, Kang Hodong, Lee Soogeun, Super Junior, SNSD, Brown Eyed Girls, TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin and many others. “Winter Sonata” and “Autumn In My Heart”‘s Yoon Sukho PD as well as “Full House”‘s Pyo Minsoo PD also supported the event by making donations respectively.


The 'Korea Festival 2010' is organized by The Ministry of Culture Thailand and the aim is to provide help to 3 million victims who were affected by the recent flood in Thailand.

Celebrities express concerns for the artillery skirmish between the Koreas

 

In South Korea, people initially responded with shock to the altercation in which North Korea fired artillery shells at a South Korean island populated by civilians. Various celebrities expressed their concerns and feelings about this matter via Twitter.

Jay Park wrote on his personal Twitter, “I just heard the news. Everybody please be safe. I’m very concerned.”
 

Simon D of Supreme Team reflected, “I hope that the issue does not escalate and there are no more casualties. NO WAR”.

T-ara’s Eunjung said, “I know. This is an extremely serious matter. I’m worried”, while actress Park Shinhye wrote, “My heart aches. All the people who wished for peace had their hopes ruined in a second. Please no more injuries.”

Wrapping up, comedian Park Kyung Lim tweeted, “I just finished filming and what is this. At a time like this, we must have accurate news and unite to comfort each other.”

Park Shin Hye at 8th Korean Film Awards

The 8th Korean Film Awards took place on November 18th at the Sejong Center.

Our star, Park Shin Hye is one of the nominees for the Best supporting Actress Award for her role as Min Young in movie "Cyrano Agency" this year.

Although Shin Hye did not win the award this year, her gorgeous outfit and stunning smile captivated the audience and reporters, who described her as "young, stunning and princess-like".

The results may be disappointing, but bear in mind that it is very rare that a young actor/actress gets nominated. So it's a start for Shin Hye! There are years to come and I am sure that in the foreseeable future, Shin Hye's hard work will pay off ^^ Fighting, Hacci!!!

Park Shin Hye attends "Try to Remember" VIP Premiere in Seoul

News just in! Our princess Shin Hye is back in Seoul, Korea!

Following the updates of her going home on Twitter(@ssinz) dated November 16 2010, Park Shin Hye attended the premiere of "Try To Remember" (Hangul: 우리 만난 적 있나요) VIP premiere tonight.

The actress wrote on Twitter that she visited her brother with her two dogs Nori and Bongji this morning at the army campsite. She also cheekily mentioned that she needs to stop gaining weight while she's home. To me, she has gained a little weight, but looks very healthy and lovely.

Doesn't she look dazzling, as always?

Huis Ten Bosch, the next location for Hayate

As reported earlier, Hayate will take it's filming activities all the way to Japan - making this production a multinational affair. 

On 10 November Nagasaki-ken Tourism Association (長崎観光連盟) has announced that Huis Ten Bosch will be the filming location for Hayate's cast & crew. The drama is scheduled to be aired April next year. 

From the 28th of this month, the 45 member cast & crew will spend approximately two weeks at the filming locations at Huis Ten Bosch. Some shoot locations include Palace Huis Ten Bosch, Kanko-Maru Cruise Ship and Dom Tower.
