2nd Seoul Cultural Art Awards

The 2nd Seoul Cultural Art Awards was held at Seoul Olympic Park Stadium tonight, February 28th. The Seoul Cultural Arts Award records the best cultural activities of 2010, with 11 categories expanding over music, TV, movies and songs. It is the largest cultural arts event of the Republic of Korea.

There are many of Korea’s very best in attendance and among those was none other than the lovely Park Shin Hye. She was invited to attend the ceremony as an award presenter.

Tonight she was spotted wearing a gorgeous black dress that accentuated her beautiful neckline and outlined her beautiful curves.

Park Shin Hye to appear on KBS 2TV Win Win

Actress Park Shin Hye is going to appear as a surprise guest in an upcoming episode of KBS 2TV talk show “Win Win승승장구” on Tuesday, March 1 2011 at 11:15pm (Korean local time).

Similar to SBS’s “Strong Heart”, “Win Win” is a talk show that invites Korean singers and actors who share stories about their life, career and dreams. Win Win gives viewers and fans a chance to look into the lives of stars by listening to their stories. 

Many stars come on the show and share stories about their hardships in debuting, strange experiences and some other funny situations that have occurred in their life. Friends of the stars are often invited.

The details of Shin Hye’s appearance are still unknown, but it is rumored that she was spotted filming the show last week at KBS headquarters.The guest for the eisode in question is Joo Sang Woo, so Shin Hye may possible guest as his friend on the show, as they had previously filmed drama "Kimchee Radish Cubes"(2008) together.

MCs include idol group BEAST’s Lee Ki Kwang, actor Kim Sung Soo, DJ DOC’s Jung Jae and entertainer Kim Seung Woo.

Park Shin Hye guest stars at Lee Seung Hwan’s Charity Showcase

On this cold Saturday, Shin Hye participated in Lee Seung Hwan’s charity showcase called “Live with a Kind Heart Season 2” at AX-Korea stadium. the  The showcase aims at raising funds for the Children's Leukemia Foundation, as well as for various causes such as international aid for fair trade.

The event today was devided into 2 parts. The first part consists of a fundraising event which started at 2pm and ended at 6pm. During that time, Shin Hye wore a pink suit and stood behind a counter promoting the causes. Then at 6pm, the concert started and Shin Hye was spotted wearing a Hanbok (traditional Korean costume).

During the concert, Shin Hye tweeted the following (along with 2 photos) :

This is also Shin Hye's 1st public appearance after dying her hair chocolate brown on February 23 2011.

There's a saying "When we love someone, we learn from him/her".

[NEWS] "Minam" Jung Yonghwa, Park Shin Hye may be costars again?

CNBlue’s Jung Yonghwa (23 years old) and actress Park Shin Hye (22 years old) are invited to cast in MBC’s drama “Festival 페스티벌”(temporary title) which is scheduled to broadcast in June 2011.

The two friends are offered the lead male and female roles respectively. "Festival" centers an art university and the male lead is part of a music band .

Jung Yonghwa’s agency FNC Music’s representative said “It is true that we have received such an offer. But it is still under review because we are worried that Yonghwa might not be free as CNBlue is scheduled to comeback in the 4^th week of March.We're still deciding.”

On the other hand, Park Shin Hye’s agency AVA Entertainment published a statement regarding the drama offer “We think Park Shinhye can show off her charm by acting as a lively young girl,” said the agency. “The script is funny. We are currently in talks with the production team, and we’ll decide soon.” Park Shin Hye recently starred in a comedy “Cyrano Agency” (2010) and will be continuing her studies at Joongang University in the upcoming semester.

The two of them had previously worked together on SBS “You’re Beautiful” (2009) as band members of ANJell and received much love from viewers. In the drama, Park Shin Hye’s role “Go Minam” and Jang Keun Suk’s role “Hwang Tae Kyung” eventually becomes a couple, leaving jung Yonghwa’s role "Kang Shinwoo" bitter. Jung Yonghwa’s role is also praised by viewers who gave him the nickname “Milky Boy”.

“Festival” will be directed by Pyo Min-soo PD, who is well known for his works such as “Full House” (2004), “Which Star Are You From” (2006), “Coffee House” (2010)… etc.
