[NEWS] Heavy Rain in Taiwan delays "Hayate the Combat Butler" Filming
The filming of "Hayate the Combat Butler" is hindered by the heavy rain in Taiwan.
"Hayate" 's filming is scheduled to end at the end of this month. However, due to heavy rain in Taipei, the filming progress is hindered. Last Saturday, "Hayate" was supposed to film at Danshuei, Taiwan. But as the cast and crew arrived at Danshuei, heavy rain began to pour and the filming in Danshuei was cancelled. The cast and crew immediately moved down to Miaoli(Southern Taiwan) to resume filming, but again, rain fell down mercilessly upon their arrival in Miaoli.
At last, the weather forecast reported that Yilan was sunny, so the main cast and crew packed their luggages and fled to Yilan. Unfortunately, rain started to fall as they arrived. In the end, they cancelled the filming and left Yilan.
As Korean actress Park Shin Hye needs to return to Korea at the end of January, the cast and crew of Hayate decided to go to Southern Taiwan to continue their filming. They took a train going around Southern Taiwan, stopping at Kenting, Kaohsiung, Tainan and Chiayi for filming. Finally, they found sunshine in Kenting.
The bad weather also brought about a car accident. The bus that was used to transport the cast of "Hayate" hit a tree while driving in the bad weather. The windows were completely shattered. Luckily, no one was hurt in the accident.
The main actors and actresses of "Hayate" could do nothing but to leave the bus. They wore raincoats and black sealing tape(to protect themselves from the rain and cold weather) and stood on the pavement. They also wrote "Please Do Not Laugh!" with white markers on their raincoats. Seeing that, George Hu could not hide his laughter and said "I found it very amusing!"
